Try to send hand written thank you notes no later than a month after your wedding referring to the gift they have given you. To make it easier to manage start writing them as soon as people start buying you gifts rather than having masses to do after your honeymoon.

I hate thank you notes! It took me about a year to write all of mine. I know that might have been poor form, but I would just write one whenever I had a spare minute. I say, try to do them as quickly as possible but don't kill yourself. And whatever happened to the thank you phone call?
ReplyDeleteGreat advice. I think I'll get a box, and write them as the gifts come in, but send them all at once, so I can keep track of the full list and not overlook anyone.
